How it all started...
Josef and Rochelle Rasheed began having gatherings in their home with the intention of planting a church in June 2005. The core group of six families began having weekly Bible Studies and by September 2005, CrossRoads began having Sunday Services. As CrossRoads continued to grow numerically and spiritually God blessed us with a location in the city of DeSoto.
CrossRoads is a biblically based church plant of the Evangelical Covenant Church, Inc. On January 29, 2007, God blessed CrossRoads Covenant to purchase our current home base.

With the support and guidance of God, the Evangelical Covenant Church, family and friends, CrossRoads offers many opportunities to serve and impact the Kingdom.
From Sunday Worship, Vacation Bible School, Worship in the Park, Bible Studies, Thanksgiving Baskets, and Ministry gatherings,
CrossRoads empowers Men, Women, Youth and Children through various events and programs to nurture into deeper spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ and one another.

Where we are headed...
We envision the CrossRoads Campus as the place where all people experience the beauty and majesty of God in the serenity of nature. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds. We intentionally seek to win new believers to Christ as well as help believers learn principles of Scripture. Our church envisions outdoor gardens and facilities available to the entire community.
