CrossRoads Sunday Service | Dear Church

Nov 16, 2025    Joshua Murphy

Good morning, church family! We are so glad you’re here today. Today we gather in the presence of the One who is “the First and the Last,” the God who sees us, knows us, and walks with us through every season.

Our sermon today focuses on the church in Smyrna, one of the most faithful communities addressed in the book of Revelation. Smyrna was a church known not for its ease or comfort, but for its courage. Though they faced pressure, poverty, and persecution, Jesus called them rich in faith, rich in endurance, rich in hope.

As we step into worship this morning, may we bring our own struggles, our own uncertainties, and our own stories of perseverance to the feet of Christ. May their example inspire us to remain faithful in all circumstances, trusting that the Lord who strengthened Smyrna strengthens us as well.

Let us open our hearts, lift our voices, and worship the God who knows our trials and promises life to those who remain faithful.
